2010 VBS SCHEDULE IS IN THE DEVELOPMENT SAGE

2009 Information

Vacation Bible School is conducted annualy for children ages 4 through 6th grade. This year we have added 13 and up on Saturday June 13 9:30 am-2:30 pm.

The Vacation Bible School was a great success in 2008 with more than 40 children in attendance. We used fun songs, had topic related crafts, great Bible Studies and Mission topics. Friday night of VBS we met at 7:00 pm for our "parent night" where the children displayed what they learned in 5 short days!

 This year our children will be on a "POLAR EXTREME" adventure. 6:00 each evening our Bible School will begin with our VBS Opening assembly which consists of reciting the pledges of allegience to the Bible,  to the United States and Christian Flags, then after singing several opening songs and learning and sharing scriptures we will recieve our mission offering. After the Sunday evening opening assembly we will break into age graded classes, parents will be free to tour the church or meet with the pastor. We will conduct Bible School each evening Sunday through Thursday from 6-8:30 pm. Friday will be our special "Parent Night" where the students will show what they have learned during the week.

• Monday: Josiah: Extreme Obedience - 2 Kings 22:1-11; 23:1-3; 2 Chron. 34
• Tuesday: Mary: Extreme Joy - Luke 1:26-56; 2:1-7
• Wednesday: Peter: Extreme Forgiveness - Luke 22:33, 34, 54-62; John 21:1-19
• Thursday: The Good Samaritan: Extreme Love - Luke 10:25-37 
• Friday: Parent Night

   

"Popsicle" the Penguin puppet will be a real child favorite. Mrs Forman will interact with "Popsicle" throughout the week. Come, join in the fun!
